Philosophies that inform my practice
There is an innate Intelligence in being and a wisdom inside each of us that yearns to guide us through life, death and everything in-between
There are pathways to deepened connection, listening and awareness that can be cultivated between the self, the body and the lived experience- and exploring these pathways can amplify that wisdom
Developing a relationship with the self in this way can bring us into the deeper truth of who we are, our power and our potential
Being aware of the stories that we tell ourselves about our self, our bodies, our emotions, our histories, our futures, others, and where we are in the present moment can help us to unlock and unblock where we might be stuck
Bodies are wise and we can be brought back into awareness and attunement with what the body is communicating
Grief and loss are natural to the inevitable change-flow cycles of life
Loss affects us on many levels, and grief often echoes through the heart, mind, and body
By honoring and tending to our grief we have the opportunity to reorient and reconnect to our self in relation to our changing lives. This can bring healing, understanding, deepened connection, insight and a renewed sense of the path forward in our lived experience
Grief can teach us how to love, love can teach us how to grieve
Understanding and honoring the many places that our grief originates from and what we might be grieving in any given moment can create a deeper awareness of the multi faceted grief that others in our society are also undergoing. Seeing the world in this way can generate a poignant empathy that can lead to positive and impactful social change, and a deeper felt connectivity in our lives.
The clarity that comes from our ability to be truly vulnerable with ourselves & others can be the key to e v e r y t h i n g (including but not limited to love, peace, understanding, fulfillment, depth, healing, health, meaning, connection and quite possibly the survival of humanity)
