Do you want to share a story about who or what you are grieving? Maybe you have a desire to tell someone - someone who hasn’t heard before- about who died or what you loved and lost or had to walk away from? A Story Share Session is a simple space for you to tell that story.
Unlike my longer-form grief work, these sessions are not about processing, and are not grief support, grief integration, or trying to work through your grief. There is nothing to figure out or resolve in these sessions, this is just for you to have a space to share a memory, a moment, a regret, a realization, a wonder, or a tenderness. You can talk about the person, place, the life, or the thing that you miss- or what you have come to understand or question in light of it.
In the time following our session, I will lovingly craft a short reflection poem or brief writing about your share, so that you have something to take with you after we part. Story Share Sessions are offered over zoom by donation (suggested $25/25 minutes)
*NOTE: Story Share Sessions are not professional grief support. It is a storytelling space. It is a separate creative share space outside of grief support for simply sharing a story about/reflecting on grief, loss, and change, and having that story witnessed. It is not intended for processing trauma, seeking advice, or receiving counseling, professional grief support or crisis support. If you are looking for counseling or therapeutic support for trauma processing, or with an ongoing or unsafe situation, or if you are in immediate danger or need urgent support, please contact an appropriate professional, crisis, or emergency service near you. I am not a licensed clinical, therapeutic, or medical professional. Story Share Sessions are only available to adults 18 or older. You must read the FAQS page before scheduling, and by scheduling, you confirm that you understand and agree with the terms on the FAQs page and on this page. If you would like to schedule an Integrative Grief Support session with me, please review the FAQs page and then reach out via the form on the Get In Touch webpage.
